For the past twenty years Karen has been involved with the South Okanagan Real Estate Market, she has extensive knowledge in the Real Estate field. Karen established RE/MAX Wine Capital Realty in July 1st, 2006; it is tactile and diversified to fulfill the needs and demands of her community. Karen takes immense pride in helping her clients fulfill their dreams in finding their “special new homes”. She also is a ”Regional Specialist” for selling their properties when the time arises. You may have seen Karen’s little sunshine drawing on all the documents she is working with. She is known as, ”The Okanagan Sunshine Lady” and has been for as long as she has been in the Okanagan. A good reason for this is Karen’s shining smile and her warm, generous spirit, comforting to all she meets. Her unique sense of timing, humour and skilful competence at her craft is why she is the recipient of many honours and awards including the President’s Award, Sales Master Award, multiple recipients of the Award of Excellence, Diamond Award, 100% Award and Platinum Awards.

Karen’s success is a bi-product of her back ground and colourful past in the food and beverage hospitality industry. She obtained her Real Estate licence in 1991 and began working with the Realty World franchise. In 1994 Karen, with a partner, bought the Company. Her strong management skills were recognized in that first year when she received an award for “Rookie Office” of the year in Canada within the Realty World franchise. In the following year Karen acquired her Broker’s licence. In 1997 Royal LePage Canada bought Realty World. Her phenomenal energy and hard work was the basis of her opening and operating two Royal LePage offices simultaneously in Okanagan Falls and Oliver.

She now solely owns and operates the RE/MAX franchise in the heart of wine country. Karen looks forward to any email, calls or visits from any folks interested in buying or selling real estate as well as anyone interested in a career in Real Estate.

Karen’s home is a busy place with all of her sons, Jason, Mathew, Dustin and Gary (with his Sons, Cody and Ben) coming and going along with Jodie & Charmaine, Mathew’s and Dustin’s wives. There is always something going on in the Lewis household. It maybe a family gathering, BBQ or planning a feast of some kind, a fundraiser, or just because! Karen‘s time with her family and extended family is treasured along with her precious pets, Lilly (her Dog) and Curley (her cat).

Karen is proud of her three sons and their achievements. Mathew is a licenced Realtor with broker status and a B.A. in Urban Geography & Planning. Mathew works alongside Karen in the RE/MAX office. He is married to Jodie Duncan who was born and raised here in Oliver. They live and love it here in Oliver. Dustin is a mining engineer newly married to Charmaine all the way from Montana. They reside in Saskatchewan. Jason the youngest of the three sons is a certified auto body technician and lives here in Oliver. The Lewis group love the outdoors and spend a lot of their free time fishing and camping when they are not down south in Costa Rica or Mexico enjoying the heat and the surf.
